We have Earl Allyson P. Valdez’s, “A Church Ever Ancient, Ever New: A Theological Synthesis from the Perspective of the XV Synod of Bishops on Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment.” While then a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Manila, Fr. Valdez was part of the Philippine delegation to the 2018 Pre-synodal Meeting in preparation for the Synod and he uses three important points taken from the Synodal documents to synthesize some fundamental aspects of Christian faith in a manner that connects in a special way to the youth. – from the Editor’s Preface
