In “FABC@50: Renewing the Clergy of Asia,” Most Rev. Mylo Hubert C. Vergara who is head of the FABC’s Office of Clergy (FABC-OC) shares his experiences of working with and for the FABC in this important area, giving us a picture of how an FABC office operates. The seminars organized and papers produced, as he says, “reveal how the FABC-OC has been true to its mission to renew and empower clergy in the Asian context to deal with the contemporary challenges in their priestly life and ministry.” He also identifies a number of vital prospects that the FABC-OC is currently aiming at towards the renewal of clergy in Asia as well as to respond to pressing issues such as the clergy abuse crisis. – from the Editor’s Preface
