Fr. Milton Joseph Rozario’s “The Catholic Church in Bangladesh and Its Mission of Integral Evangelization as Envisioned by Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium and the FABC Documents” contextualizes the theology of mission as found in the Scriptures, in Vatican II, in the teachings of recent popes and the documents of FABC in the present situation of the local Church in Bangladesh, with its unique features and challenges. In this bold and thought-provoking article, he acknowledges how some of our churches may still be operating based on outdated notions and models of mission which may not be appropriate anymore and as such are ineffective in our particular contexts today here in Asia with its plurality of cultures, religions and social conditions.
