This Issue “Faces of Mercy” contemplates in a holistic way how God’s boundless mercy opens up, heals, sustains, and saves. This inspiration is drawn particularly from the Jubilee Papal bull Misericoriae Vultus, and Pope Francis’ admonition that the Church lives an authentic life when she professes and proclaims mercy. Contributors discussed different manifestations of mercy, in different contexts, mercy in relation to poverty and wealth, caring for creation with integrity, Sacramental life, pastoral and education experiences.
