Fanning the Flames of Hope

We live in times fraught with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. In the Philippines, this has been most palpable since the results of the national elections. As a school of theology in the Philippines, the Loyola School of Theology affirms its integral role in shaping the minds and hearts of its students so that they may become effective instruments of God’s saving work. Now more than ever, we are called to be heralds of hope to one another, especially to those in the margins of society. Jesus is our Hope, the Alpha and the Omega, our Model in this endeavor. May this issue contribute to the flames of hope that shall keep the world ablaze for God and God’s beloved people.
