With the theme “Longing to Be Saved: Understanding our Passion for Superheroes”, this issue explores the fascination with superheroes as a lens for practical and deeper exploration on common human puzzles and questions regarding heroism, the search for meaning, and grace and salvation. Contributors theologize on a wide range of topics, including the relevance of the Church in contemporary society, interfaith awareness, Filipino culture and identity in relation to local superheroes, and the unending search of a savior figure amidst political instabilities and social crises.
