The third article by Elisa Manansala-Magtibay, titled, “Designing the Grade 12 Christian Life Education Curriculum of Xavier School Nuvali Through the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm and the Life-Faith-Life Framework” chronicles the efforts of a relatively-new, Jesuit-run K-12 school located in an emerging urban center a few miles south of Metro Manila as it strives to integrate Ignatian principles in its religious instruction curriculum. Aside from providing a valuable glimpse into the design process that went into their program, this article also contains a number of seminal ideas that can be explored and developed further by those involved in the education ministry. Among these is the potential of using more widely-known and current teaching and learning models such as Understanding by Design and Groome’s Shared Christian Praxis model as concrete ways to apply the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm towards creating opportunities for students to encounter Christ. – from the Editor’s Preface
